1St Annual "ride To Gilroyville" A Fun And Successful Day - Chief40of2001 - 01-06-2015 05:57 PM

Saturday August 16th, 12 noon

Met at Barts House (37538 Valley Rd Oconomowoc, WI 53066) at 12:00 noon and we will all rode together on the last leg to the destination.

An all Indian Motorcycle Ride to an Indian Motorcycle collector in South Eastern Wisconsin . This collector owns the "T3: Rise of the Machines" Movie Police Indian Chief motorcycle. He has in his collection a number of Gilroy era motorcycles and never before seen prototype Gilroy era bikes. He also owns a number of collectables, and parts from the original factory, and had just returned from out-of-state where he bought out the inventory of another well known collector ( Bill Melvin) . The collection is truly a snapshot in time.

The afternoons activities involved tours and social time. https://www.facebook...84083571784847/

Plans are already underway for a 2nd annual "Ride to Gilroyville" 2015 event. Our Host has graciously offered campsite space as well as other amenities.
Otherwise it makes for a nice day ride.

A few of our brothers of the Twin City IIRA Tribe came down for the 1st year event and were duly impressed by the collection and vast knowledge of our host.

Great Host and friendly tribe. Already planning next years event.

I'll release more info on the 2015 date as next year rolls around. In the mean time, swing by the FB site and enjoy the pics.
